Road Trip, Part the Second

Well, I'm back from the CO. Mission accomplished...sort of. The movers loaded everything from the house up, I was able to attend the truck weigh-ins and we came in under estimate, and I loaded up everything remaining into J's car and drove that here to GA. However, the house is still very much not sold yet and to date has not one single showing. Now, though, I can at least focus on getting more stuff done around here, like trying to set up internet, phone, garbage pick up, etc. The good news is that all the stuff getting moved could arrive here as early as Monday, so there won't be too much of a wait (hopefully). I also got confirmation that the company I interviewed with is doing a background check on me, so I would imagine that means they are interested in making me an offer as long as nothing bad comes out of the check. See? Propagandizing my myspace page wasn't such a bad idea after all. That's all for now. I will try to get into more frequent posts once my internet gets set up full time again.

Welcome to Atlanta, where the playas play...

...and we ride on this thing like ev'ry day...but I digress. Anyway, the fam and I arrived in GA yesterday evening and stayed with my parents. I have to say that I am quite excited to be back east. Somewhere in Missouri or Illinois during our cross country trek I stopped to get gas and felt a strange but familiar feeling in the air. It was humidity. I used to detest it, but I honestly don't think I mind it so much anymore. There are also a lot of green things here like "trees" and "grass" that don't really exist in Colorado. We looked at the house my brother is letting us stay in and it's actually a lot better than we ever thought. It's in a great neighborhood and is a pretty nice place in itself. Considering one of our options was living in Julieta's parents' basement, we definitely have nothing to complain out, that's for sure. So anyway, we're here to stay for a while. J leaves for her 3 month travel job tomorrow morning, so I have to go take care of some things as I will be watching Liam by myself for those three months, which should be very exciting.
